I use phoenixminer 4.0b and right now I can't mine ETH with 3GB of VRAM (GTX 1060) on Windows 7 anymore. I'm going to switch to Ubuntu 16.04 immediately.
That will just give you 2 more months...why not immediately switch to something else?
2 months is enough to sell those gpus and replace it with a bigger vram.
