In the past week, the TRON project continued to run smoothly. Here is this week's update for all of our supporters, believers and followers.
Technical Development
Work Completed:
1.[Structure] Node merged; FullNode provides all interfaces for SolidityNode.
2.[Consensus] Tested the Token name duplication mechanism.
Work in Progress:
1.[Structure] Optimize database storage.
2.[Wallet] Test multi-signature.
3.[Consensus] Test dynamic changes of resource ceiling.
Global Community
1.TRON's founder, Justin Sun's Facebook account has been officially verified. The increasing number of Justins followers on Facebook shows that TRON is becoming more and more well-known around the world;
2.TRON held a meetup with CryptoDiva in Nirobi, Kenya. This is TRON's first offline meetup in Africa and it marked a significant step in TRON's global ecosystem expansion;
3.TRON has announced the winners of its first "TikTok" contest. If you are among the Tronics who won, please send your address and contact details (if you won material gifts) or your account address (if you won TRX) in private messages to TRON's official TikTok account (bochangderichang).
Developer Community
1. Tron Accelerator continues to grow in popularity. The contest website has been viewed more than 12,000 times and more than 160 teams and individuals have signed up;
2. Another Chinese moderator has joined Discord. Tron-cli now supports public chain version 3.2. Bugs in rewards and unit converter were fixed on Tron-station;
3. White Paper 2.0 was released. The Chinese version of developer documentation will be released next week.
Team and Partners
1.TRON's founder, Justin Sun, initiated a proposal in the committee feature of TRON's public chain. He suggested to raise the Energy from 50 billion to 250 billion. If this proposal passes, the cost of development will be significantly reduced. When the energy ceiling is raised, developers can get more Energy with the same amount of frozen TRX. DApp developers will receive more Energy support;
2.TRON's founder, Justin Sun, submitted Proposal No. 9 through the committee feature of TRON's public chain. The proposal aims to reduce the Energy consumption per unit of the TRON Protocol from 20 sun to 10 sun. If the proposal passes, the cost of smart contracts will be brought down significantly, providing developers with a low-cost developing environment;
3.The Russian media platform Forklog released an article on TRON, titled: "TRON Invested $100M in TRON Arcade, the Blockchain Game Fund". Forklog is an information service platform specializing in Bitcoin, blockchain, and decentralized technologies, and it publishes news on virtual currencies, Bitcoin price analysis, virtual technologies and other Bitcoin-related information;
4.The Japanese media website BITTIMES released an article on TRON, titled "TRON Achieved a 400% Increase in Its Performance and Its Transaction Volume Is 3 Times That of Ethereum". BITTIMES is one of the most popular professional media websites in Japan on cryptocurrency, providing the latest news on cryptocurrency/blockchain for crypto fans in Japan and around the world;
5.Sanja Kon, Vice President of Global Partnerships at UTRUST, will attend niTROn Summit 2019 hosted by TRON. As a main speaker, she will talk about how cryptocurrencies reshaped the payment sector;
6.The Korean media agency Isplus released an article, titled "TRON and Cocos-BCX Released TRON Arcade Developer Support Plan". Isplus is a Korean daily that covers news on sports, outdoor sports, performance, and entertainment;
7.Tim Byun, CEO of OKCoin USA will be joining niTROn2019 as a main speaker. He will be sharing his expertise in global digital currency trading and how he thinks the industry will be evolving in 2019;
8.Mars Finance announced that it will form a blockchain game developer alliance with TRON and its game fund, TRON Arcade. Both parties will leverage their resources jointly and cooperate extensively in the blockchain game industry.
Market Transactions
1.Developed on TRON's ecosystem, TRX Market, a decentralized exchange, was launched. It is characterized by features like safety, reliability, openness, transparency, speed and convenience, committed to becoming a pioneer in the new era of DEX. In terms of transaction authenticity, all transactions are carried out in TRX smart contracts, and the transaction records are stored on the blockchain so that the transaction data is immutable, open, transparent, and available to look up in real time; in terms of asset security, users can use wallet to trade directly, keep the private key themselves, and the exchange cannot touch users' digital assets;
2.TRX is now available on the SWFT Blockchain trading platform. SWFT is a one-stop currency exchange platform that uses blockchain, machine learning, and big data technology to achieve security, risk-free, fast transaction, and low cost. Currency exchange on the platform is safer, faster, and cheaper.
