First thing, Bitcoin is money, you don't "make money" from bitcoin. Think of it as trading any other currency. You are going to have to buy it with fiat money or gold or something.

A lot of people are going to offer to "help" you buy bitcoin, but my advice is to ignore them all. You will want to do this right and...

1. Download and sync a full node wallet. Less than a full node is less secure. It will take days and require a dedicated computer with a HUGE hard drive. I would never run any other OS besides Linux.  If new try Ubuntu Linux. ( https://www.ubuntu.com )

2.  Set up and fund an exchange account at a licensed business in your country. You will have to upload lots of personal information and bank information to transfer money to the exchange. It will take a week to set-up. Be patient.

3. Once you have funded your account you can buy some bitcoin then immediately transfer it to your own wallet. YOU MUST MAKE A COPY OF YOUR WALLET FILE!!!!!! Without a backup there is no hope of recovery because the private keys are in your wallet.

After all this you own some bitcoin. In fact you are the sole owner and nobody on Earth can do anything about it. Once the price has risen you should not sell your BTC back for dollars. You will be losing some of your profit that way. Better to buy something with it. Many places offer a discount for using BTC that increases your profits.
