I do not think that at the end of this race there will be only one winner. I think that there is space for both projects on the market and maybe even a few more. People like to have a choice and these two good projects give it to them.
That's certainly true, mate. It's often good to have a diversity of cryptocurrency projects to compete against each other, as it would help improve Blockchain technology for the better. There will be some people that will support EOS, while others will support ETH. What's important is that both projects evolve over time by increasing in development and innovation. There cannot be a single winner, simply because both EOS and ETH have their pros and cons.
Depending on the environment and usage, will be the specific blockchain to use. EOS might be centralized, but it can process more TPS than ETH and it costs nothing to send it across the network. On the other hand, ETH is decentralized and highly secure with the downsides of high costs and low TPS. Therefore, there's a possibility that both cryptocurrencies would survive for many years to come. Just my opinion
