The FT has a paywall. So if the OP is copy-pasting from there we won't find it via Google.
That's good to know, but I thought google still indexed content behind paywalls. I've found stuff through google only to find that a subscription is required to read the whole article--is that what you're talking about?
In any case, the posts AdolfinWolf quoted from OP like
While many traders are eagerly awaiting a potential Bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF), some of the most ardent supporters of cryptocurrency are tepid at best for the prospect of such a tool.
are definitely written in the style of a professional journalist. Non-English speakers probably don't realize that people who read news articles in English can usually recognize the style, as opposed to what a typical original bitcointalk post is like. I've caught quite a few plagiarists by noticing noobs who write like journalists--that just isn't going to happen unless it's plagiarized, because people don't naturally write like that.
I take it this ban
isn't for plagiarism, though, correct? If the ban PM that OP got really said "insufficient comments content" then that means mods are temp-banning shitposters, and I'm all for that. Am I correct about this?
