A friend changed his password and tried logging in. And he got the message your account has been lock for security reasons. How would he unlock.

Account can be locked through the link which is sent to the registered email,this feature is added to stop using the hacked account so your friend maybe clicked that link accidentally?
I read sometime back, that there is bug in this forum and account can be locked if you use Secret question feature.
