I, like others, was running the new version and the old version at same time since the new seemed to be lacking some features the old did well. Last night at midnight the old stopped working, won't update from exchanges. anyone else having this problem?

Same here. Would have been nice to get some warning before spending hours troubleshooting NET, a 2 hour chkdsk and installing a fresh windows 7 virtual machine. :-)
