If you pay attention to the fact that more than 90% of all ico companies created coins on the erc20 platform, then when aether falls, all these projects will fall. So think about which coins are in your portfolio.
People were just getting confuse of what would be the effect of ETH into the ERC20 token form. All token who have this form will always be connected to ETH, that is why any happen to ETH price will directly effect on them and in the market as well.
You said everything correctly, so I am sure that all users of cryptocurrency are smart people and everyone acts taking into account the prospects of their work. Therefore, I am sure that everyone who uses the erc20 platform is confident in good results and prospects for many years.
