I am now looking for a way to get merits and looking for people who have done it, one way is to give an outstanding post like a study or catching scam ICO, these are two ways to get merit in my opinion.
Your post or reply does not have to be outstanding inorder to get merits. Other members are more concerned with your level of contributions amd post history.
If a shit poster makes a one off pots which is quality, they're less likely to get merits due to their post history, other members believe they would give back to spamming for signature campaigns.

Read a lot, to gain knowledge
Make quality posts and if you can, uncover scams
Only contribute when you have something relevant to add to the discussion.
