All altcoins are affected with this dip , thats why we cannot say that it is only dependent  but yeah your right there were tons of way to earn a profit on this market not just by investing or trading .  

Overall, Theres no reason to hate altcoins because even the bad and ugliest altcoins can also potentially pumped up  as long as the market of cryptos is in good mood .
