Well there is going to be something special for crypto industry. Either it is going to be real good or real bad. I mean it won't continue the way it is, i believe there might be some regulation that may take place to put this industry in some kind of a legal status.
Although blockchain can live without the cryptocurrencies, I am sure that the crypto market will always live. People are interested in the business called the crypto trading. It lets them earn money and stay busy.
Blockchain can live without cryptocurrency in other industry, ex: implementing the technology just for payment gateway and just used the blockchain not touch the cryptocurrency, but blockchain loss user when running without cryptocurrency
