Would the market recover soon and be conducive to do more massive trading, or should we wait for another year?

Yeah this year is almost end. 2019 is coming and we all hope for recover the market soon. but i thing its not gonna happen fast it'll take more some time to recover the market. may be market will recover middle of next year (totally my opinion).
Yes we are all hoping against hope that the better, more productive, ever active crypto market activities come 2019. What we've seen on the last quarter market performance which is really not good simply because of the vrupto market decline. Massive sell off, panic trading, and a lot more. But i am very positive that once the crypto market corrected itself it will be a good and favorable market activity again. It maybe bumpy because of high Volatility on the market but it will be more active.good luck.
