Happy ‘NEW’ Year: Newton’s 1st Airdrop
Newton, started on December 25, 2017, turns a year old on Christmas. In this year, we have published our white paper, exchanged tokens, launched MainNet, and reached major milestones in business cooperation. NewMall, our first application, is coming soon. None of these successes would be possible without the support of our community members.

In order to give back to the community, Newton is planning its first airdrop to community members who have passed KYC verification as of UTC 24:00, December 8, 2018. Because of the large number of applicants, however, in the end, 11,251 members were not able to participate in the token exchange. Each member will receive 5,000 NEW.

From UTC 6:00 on December 26, 2018, we will send an email with the subject “Happy ‘NEW’ Year” to everyone receiving the airdrop. Please log into the Newton website user center as directed in the email and enter your NEW address.

The deadline of filling in your NEW address is UTC 24:00 January 7th, 2019. If you are unable to complete before the deadline, you will be deemed as automatically waiving the tokens.

The NEW airdrop has two phases.

-  For users who submit their NEW addresses before UTC 24:00 on December 30, 2018, the airdrop will take place from UTC 2:00 TO 16:00 on December 31, 2018.

-  For users who submit their NEW addresses from 24:00 on December 30, 2018 to 24:00 on January 7, 2019,the airdrop will take place from UTC 2:00 to 16:00 from January 8, 2019.

Receiving your airdrop tokens:

1. First log into the website (https://www.newtonproject.org) and download NewPay.

2. Create your wallet and prepare a hint.

3. Your NEW receipt address: Wallet > Receive > Copy Address

4. Fill in NEW address: Use your Newton account to log into the user center, and input your NEW address as prompted. Carefully verify the address before entering it. If you write the address incorrectly, you won’t receive your NEW.

Note: All the tokens to be issued in airdrop will be suppplied by the Newton Foundation, the Newton Foundation reserves the right to interpret this announcement.
