It is not correct, this chain will fork Ethereum main chain in a certain time. Every fork can be perceived as an airdrop since holders on the old chain receive coins on the new chain. Just to make things clear 
And many will receive coins. There's pretty generous airdrop there. For every 1 Ethereum you will receive 3 Ethereum Classic Vision.
