I tried to go through the home page of bitvest this afternoon and I find out that about 70% of the open trade were in green. It seems many bet are in positive and that means alot has been made this year. How much did you made from all your betting and gambling this year?
I made around 3.64BTC this year. Each day if I were to bet 0.01BTC then I would lose them all everyday. Since I did not bet a single penny (actually I did twice or thrice here and there) meaning I saved all my BTC heheWhy didn't you assume betting with 0.1 BTC? You would have "made" 36.4 BTC then.
But seriously, when I read your first sentence I believed it right away for some reasons. That's a gambler's mind: we always want to believe that if not we then at least someone else is winning big. As for myself, I think that my profit for this year is around 0.02 BTC. And that was possible only because I was playing many positive EV games, or, in other words, promotional games with guaranteed prizes. First of all, I calculated whether the prize was worth playing, and if it was so, then I played. Sometimes it doesn't worth it. For example, if you have to wager over 1 BTC to get 0.005 BTC as a prize in a wagering contest on a site with 1% house edge, you will most likely lose more than than the prize while wagering that 1 BTC.
I am earn a little more from gambling but not to hire but this year is not so good for all the people but gambling will always be helpful for a little profit to earn without any work so it is also a good thing to develop again more for many places.
