multi-pool is out there
It's a bit of a double edged sword. We don't have the valuation to support a multipool mining, but we can't get a lot of the scrypt miners and widespread adoption without them.
Well, thanks to Kimotos they can't really do so much vs us. Only give us advertisement!
You need that many people mining it eventually, though. Just not now.
