Isn't hindsight a wonderful thing. I have to agree that ETH shouldn't be evaluated on its price. Adoption wise it's the king for smart-contracts. I am dissapointed still with the amount of dapps that ETH has, I hoped it would be more by now.
But 40% of all the altcoins were developed on ethereum. More are still coming. i think Adoption is on the high side. it depends on the utility. Most Dapps are not useful. some have decided to build their own platform. For me the price is still below expectation. this is the first project to introduce a platform for smart contracts.
