You’ll have to read through Enhanced newbie restrictions & requirements to see the full explanation as to why (meritless) Jr. Members were demoted back to Newbie rank.

As pointed above, your only options are:
-   Earn at least 1 Merit (not too difficult to do if one sets their mind to it).
-   Aquire a Copper Membership (rather cheap).
