But for some reason I have seen users still get banned even if they provided the link and summarized the post, I guess it really depends on the modes of this forum if they were going to consider the topic as well as the links provided.
As long as you provide the source/reference link from where the data came from it will not be considered as plagiarism. You should state that you summarized it from there.
Could you provide the username or post links of the users you are referring to?
For example this one, the topic was just layout or being summarized I guess just to share a little bit information to other users, the user didn't copy the whole information only just the important information, could it still be plagiarism?
