How much of an issue is that really? I'm also in The Netherlands.

If customs decide to check the hardware without CE for safety hazards, you have to wait quit a long time and you can loose it if it's not safe enough.
I don't want to take that risk so I switched to usb sticks with CE label.
I live in denmark, and i never had that problem. And i get electronic on a weekly basis, even from china.
