The problem here is people often hopes that the market will always go up. Well, that can't happen all the time. You should be a wise investor and be prepare for what will happen anytime.
That is a very childish behavior I see all the time, I can understand the desire to get profits and to avoid losing money but the moment you decide to invest in the market then we need to accept that not everything will be easy, just recently I have become a trader and during that time my first trades resulted in losses, my losses were not big or anything but since I knew this could happen I did not got worried about it and eventually I made some good trades and I recovered the money I lost.
