Ok so Ive been invested in BTC since 2018 with an average cost basis of about 8k per coin. Sadly I dont see how we arent going to have at least one more huge move down well below 3k. I have orders to buy 3 more coins if we hit 2k. I dont want to sell rn but I am considering taking out a short position here. I believe in Bitcoin, but Im tired of so much losing in my first year

Could a few members help me out and post their best argument for why we already saw the bottom, or their best argument of why we are gonna have another big move to new lows.
Thank you in advance.
You just need to be patient & wait it out. Dont panic sell at a loss, most of us have, at some point been staring at massive losses holding heavy bags.
In 2014 I thought Id made a huge mistake investing in bitcoin but I dug deep &
HODLED. Even at current prices I am
HODLING huge, huge profits.
Since the first block was mined, over time, the bitcoin price only heads in one direction overall & that is up.
You may need to
HODL for even another 2 years but I can close to 100% confidently tell you that you will make very noce profits.
The next halving is mid 2020. If you can wait for possibly 12-18 months after that you will make obscene profits.
Dont sell my friend....
HODL....It may be the best thing you ever do financially.
Thank you for responding. I am not going to sell my coins for many years, even if it goes to zero, I can afford to lose what I bought. I am thinking of taking a short position on margin that is significantly smaller than the coins I own. I think the bottom is not in yet, but would like to be wrong. I have a job that pays well and I will buy more if 2k comes and then I am not investing anymore, bc I cant afford to lose more than 40k right now.
My question is can you or anyone else give me their best argument as to why the bottom is in or not. I feel longer term investors than myself might have better insight than me so that is why I ask. Last of the V8 gave a nice list which I appreciate and I would be interested in your best argument if you care to tell me. Thank you.
