Is it just me or does launch day mining no longer work for good profits. Difficulty rises way too fast now as everyone wants in at low difficulty... and then nobody gets low difficulty. An hour in an next estimated at 150... which is going to go up even more once 500,000 blocks roll in. I'm out.

Launch
day mining? More like launch
hour mining..
Too many people are watching these forums for the next best thing. There are more people mining cryptocurrencies now than there ever has been. If you don't get in on the moment it's launched then you're not going to get the best return because plenty of others will!
Yeah no kidding when you say launch hour mining. But it just goes to show how ridiculous it has become. But I can't talk too much since I've been... part of it. Up until now pretty much. I think I'm finished doing this. Now the effort/time just isn't paying off anymore. Either the new coin forks if solo-mining, or the pools can't keep up at low difficulty so you 75% of hash rate doesn't even show up on them. This wasn't the case a month ago, but times have quickly changed.
Even if I get in the moment it's launched, it's usually a "why am I only getting 20% of a my projected total from this pool" or "am I mining on the right block chain" if solo.

The only one making anything off this is the dev. 6-7 MH/s over here isn't good enough anymore.
