Doesn't look worthless from this point of view:
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/heat-ledger/The devs of HEAT must have been acquaintances of a neckbeard that is now envious their project is going somewhere without the help of said ex-friend neckbeard.
Marketcap is not = Value, it is highest bid * Coins in existence.
Unfortunately if you try to sell heat you will see that the highest bid goes down pretty fast as there is almost no buy side. The total buy side on heatwallet is 0.28BTC and in order to get that you need about 3 millions of heat out of the 21 million or something that are in existance. I don't even know if there is any other exchange that supports heat, i guess not and if they listed it then it will most likely not even work.
Imagine you are not the only one trying to sell heat and the highest bid turns even faster into zero. So yeah it is pretty much worthless unless you consider your once tens or hundreds of thousand of dollar investment turning into a few dollars being worth something.
Sure you can be nitpicking and say "ohhh but it is not worthless", but you will look like a dumbass doing that, trust me

Oh and you better explain this one:
If you are a supporter of these projects, then this is a good time to stock up otherwise put your money where your mouth is and go do it yourself. These are voluntary-community-participation driven projects after all.
EDIT: Also, what community driven projects are you talking about? Heat is a business that got their money from their ICO...
Heat is closed source you dipshit, how can it be "community driven" when it is closed source? Even if people would like to speed up development there is nothing they can do about it! You idiot have no clue what you are talking about!
