They are both different means source of profit. Though we cant tell if one day bitcoin surpass gold the point is both of them has value.
It could be same for you but not for me as according to me bitcoin is valuable than gold and it has more profit than investing to Gold. According to me now gold has become an old investment and people are no more interested in it. They like bitcoin only for huge profit and proper security I am sure bitcoin will surpass gold very soon.
