One of the biggest issues with a decentralized system like bitcoin is that there is no central entity to provide funding for marketing etc.
We can help him by donating some of our Bitcoins to his address, but I doubt the majority of people here would help him tbh. Anyway, I believe the key to adoption is when people can learn and use Bitcoin as a money rather than speculative asset. With the advance of LN and so on, maybe we can see more adoption for Bitcoin as payment by the majority of people in another decade. Let's see what happens.
