So, I have a friend who I managed to get involved in the cryptocurrency industry around the middle of 2018, explaining all use cases to him and how the current bear market is actually the best time to start learning although not investing in the industry. For the last six months or so, he’s been spending a decent amount of time per week learning about crypto on his own also using resources that I’ve given him. He’s also begun to involve his family, wife, and even extended family in learning about this. Now I have no reservations in bringing him on board, or him bringing his family on board, because I gave a strict understanding to him not to invest with money but to invest with time. As I believe it’s very important to invest as much time as possible in understanding this new technology rather than just jumping in and investing a bunch of money that you may lose. Also, I truly believe that the benefits of investing time to learn and understand this technology will become more profitable in the future, as this technology begins to square itself away and improve for the masses.

So to get onto the main reason why I’m posting, during my friend’s learning process and by extension his family’s learning process, they come to me whenever they have questions they don’t seem to easily find answers to themselves. And it’s funny because in this experience I basically see the exact same type of questions from different people asked me in varying ways, and I find it funny that each one of them basically come up with the same questions and rather than communicating to each other they all end up individually asking the same questions.

So my question to you guys, is when you began learning about cryptocurrency, what were some of the biggest questions/ problems that you had during the learning process? How did you solve or answer these questions? And if you could go back to when you were learning, what do you think or wish would’ve existed to help speed up your learning and understanding journey?

Also, post a question that you may have now about the crypto currency as a technology or an economic system that you may not understand currently and want an answer to.

I thank you wholeheartedly for promoting cryptocurrency, not as an investment but as knowledge/technology. That's the right way! I can see a lot of new threads in this forum every single day with the end goal of speculating price. People show their frustration and rant about it because they have lost thousands of dollars from their bitcoin/crypto investment. These class of people actually care less about the technology and more concerned about their profits.

While I was learning about cryptos during mid 2015, I ended up here searching answers to my questions. Since then, Bitcointalk is the biggest knowledge resource to me, till date! Whenever I have any doubt, I do google search and I just add "bitcointalk" at the end of the question so that I can get to the proper resource. That was always my approach since the beginning.

Thank you for your words. As you say "Whenever I have any doubt, I do google search" can you remeber times when you have done this and what those issues/doubts were that had you research on then? Im searching to find out what are the things that people struggle with learning or get stuck on
