220 CFM??? That's insane... and probably sounds like a 747.
Good for Garage and low-use room setups.
Much simpler and less expensive than a water-cooling setup.
If the name of the game is cheapest and coolest hashing I don't see how this can be beaten outside of living in a cold climate.
I just use one of these behind my rig... haven't needed much more than this so far in my Mining Room in my detached garage (of course it's the middle of winter around here... we'll see how summer goes).
That works for me too and I am in Miami.
Is it noisy?
Yeah, but it's cheap, big, and it's in a dedicated Mining Room that's in a Detached Garage... I only hear it when I go tweak my miners or I'm in the garage with my car. So I'm not too bothered by noise.
