I don't know anything at all about the Turkish board, but I absolutely support more merit sources in the local boards and I've said that before. That's one way to fight shitposting, because then members aren't trying to write posts in really bad English in order to earn merits--it never works.

Are there any other merit sources who frequent the Turkish board?  The only thing I'd be concerned about is having one merit source with a lot of sMerits that he feels the need to distribute.  I'm not familiar with OP, so I can't vouch for him or even say I wholeheartedly support his application.  But if he's a fairly respected member in that community, I wouldn't be opposed to giving him a shot.

Good luck with the application.  It's definitely nice to see someone applying who's saying up front that he'd be focusing on a local section.

Thank you very much for your interest.
Yes, as far as I know in the Turkish section there are 3-4 merit sources. But I think this number can be insufficient for such an active section.

Edit:
I'm updating but I got this error

I'm solving it.
Continue in a secondary post when you reach the limit.

Thank you for this advice dear Lauda.

I'm all for it as long as situations similar to pitipawn don't repeat themselves (although he was not a merit source).
pitipawn was like an illness for Turkish section. He/she was a really troubled person. The language used in the forum always included profanity and slang. He/she also took the necessary penalties with the merit trick. I would also like to thank you for this.
