I stumbled upon a new universal block explorer, with a large amount of information collected by it, with API support coinexplorer.net
It can be used as an alternative to cryptoid.info
Thanks for the suggestion. The API data format was quite easy so I just have to make a small change to Awesome Miner to support this Block Explorer as well.
In the next release you will be able to add Block Explorer URL's like below (where VTC is an example of coin to use):
https://www.coinexplorer.net/api/v1/VTC/address/balance?address=[address]
