If I had followed $50 prediction for ether, I would have lost my ether portfolio and possibly miss out on the current price and speculated price of ether after fork. Ethereum is good coin and it is on track!
It is important to not follow the predictions of other people blindly, it is interesting to read the opinion of others and their reading of the situation and see how sometimes their view about a situation can be completely opposite to what you are seeing, but at the end we need to take the decision about what to do with our money by ourselves and what we believe to be correct.
