I heard it a year ago. In 2017-2018 had appeared first decentralized exchanges, like idex. I don't find any changes in my trading. The same functions and operations. I think 2019 will be a year of something more impressive.
It may not cause you a major changes in your trading but if you look at the security level, its better compare to centralized exchange since you have the control over your wallet. There might be no significant changes in the past years, but hopefully this year we can see now a more established decentralize exchange that prevent the hacking incidents just like what happen to cryptopia recently.
