I don't get why he didn't just claim a certain number openly for himself. I seem to remember him saying he did it to keep interest going when the sign up thread was very young.

And there is the statement "I had a few sockpuppet accounts but I have no intention of cashing out any of them. which I meant by saying "profiles were for populating the site(s), not for claming stakes".

My first comment was against nutildah's "to get more stakes".

The term sockpuppet I saw first time, when the NEM stake claming started. And because there is not proven that Utopianfuture has used sockpuppets to claim stakes, then I think that he had no 'sockpuppets, just extra 'profiles'.
