The New and Expanded OASIS hopes your 2019 is off to a great start, and we are excited to share some great news regarding the future of OASIS with you all.

We would like to take a few moments here to thank the entire OASIS Community. You've supported the direction, and placed your continued trust in our working to create something with the project after all the ups and downs over the last year, through the takeover, the swap, and the larger crypto industry-wide downturn. OASIS is nowrounding the bend, and starting to come into it's own. We truly appreciate you, and we are excited to share what comes next.

We are going to open with some overview of where things are going for Q1 and Q2, then we will introduce you to the new members of the team.

Above you will see the new logo and theme direction v2.0.0 will be headed in, including a completely new website and update of all media going forward for OASIS.

The first year of OASIS was one of establishing the network strength, and getting OASIS coins distributed while utilizing the Masternode system to supportand strengthen that network. At this point, we are part of quite a resilient collective of nodes around the world. There have been multiple hosting services as well as exchanges to support the trade of OASIS on the open market, as well as OTC buys between users.

The second year of the OASIS network will see a multitude of codebase updates and network expansion (Q1), followed by a Roadmap (Q2) that will be based upon the votes placed by Masternode operators. From there we will release our Whitepaper (TBA). We have opened a voting opportunity in the Official Chat Channel and the vast majority of operators have placed public votes to enable governance moving forward. It has always been my desire to be responsible in stewardship allowing OASIS to be decentralized and not controlled by one person steering the ship, but a community deciding on how best to grow and continue into the future.

In this direction, We have collected some wonderful individuals with skills that will help move in that direction, then let the network as a whole make the decisionsthat carry the project forward after established stability has been achieved. The Original project lead (edoane) is no longer with us, and the blockchain developerhe enlisted (remapper) has also moved onto other projects. We thank them for their time and for starting this for us all to participate in. When the community took the lead, (pesh) made sure to get OASIS through the trying time and troubles with great success. His needs to shift focus landed OASIS in my (BrandonJames) hands to find out what next was the direction to take.

To prevent any one person from having majority decision making power, We have split up the tasks to individuals with their own skills, so there is now a blockchain developer (coinminingpool.org), a web developer (cryptowho), a governance system dev (mn.zone_dev), a graphics designer (ICanHazCrypto), a social platform moderator (pesh), and myself (BrandonJames) the team leader to usher OASIS into this new phase.

We have received zero financial gain from OASIS to date, moving forward, we have decided to supply the team members with 10 Masternodes worth of collateral each, and this has been discussed with prior leadership, as well as long-term community members. 50% of the funding will be submitted today to the addresses below, the other 50% when we have successfully completed the release of OASIS v2.0.0

We will then send the remaining development fund to the burn address to decrease the centralized nature of those development coins, allowing future financing to be derived from the governance system of proposals and superblock funding budgets. The OASIS Community Donation Fund will be decided upon with the decision of the OASIS Community,be it a campaign, give away or other project prior to the first proposals.

The team hopes to complete a series of steps to allow the growth to continue moving forward. Our blockchain developer has extensively inspected and processed the present code, and found over 11,000 commits to modernize and bring OASIS to the level of other Top 250 projects that will enable that next phase.

Moving forward the new code updates and improvements will roll out with an updated wallet that includes the new graphics and theme updates. The website, and all social media will also include these new visual improvements (Bitcointalk, Twitter, Telegram/Discord) as well as CoinGecko and other Masternode information portals. Listing on CoinMarketCap as well as multiple exchanges is also slated to be completed in this time period. OASIS is already listed on Blockfolio, and we are working with them to add additional features other Top 250 projects employ.
