30 years ago when I became old enough to be allowed into gambling
establishments I played all sorts of games, poker, 21, poker machines,
one arm bandits. I remember the atmosphere in the "clubs", the sound
if the machines, the multicoloured lights, the sound of coins being
paid out, the cigarette smoke, the sticky carpet, the chat, the laughter
and the giving out as people went bust.

Today its a different scene or there is no scene. I visited a club last
night while out socialising and it was dead to the point where I wonder
how the club is able to stay open.

Since the creation of smartphones gambling is now 24/7, 365 days a year
Its so easy and convenient anyone can get involved and everyone is
targeted.

well there were still gambling establishments out there still on the run and still kicking and managing things, people also just come and go at it but with the development of gambling things right now, still it has to be done and implemented, with it, anonymously the players were in safe while playing and winning.
There's still people who will choose to enjoy the crowd of inhouse gambling, those type of people who loves seeing lots of people playing against them or with them, but also there's people who loves to play conveniently inside their own place using devices that will give them the satisfaction discreetly, we do have our own options and both types of this gambling options will co exist.

Yes i agree that there are people who still visit physical casinos but
it is becomming less with possibly the exception of "book makers"
or horse racing. Generally its an older generation i have seen visit
casinos.

Gambling develops a lot more than before and online casinos are very easier to create a investment very easily while we are in any side of the world so the development is unconditional and we can need a lots of improvement also in the system of gambling.
