No, it is hurting NXT. If developers instead go to Emu/Ethereum, it will hurt NXT in the long term. You said yourself that you are leaving soon to work on Qubic and your own projects. There is no clear future for NXT at this point and it is indeed hurting because dedicated members of the community see no good reason to stick around, it's not like people are rewarded in this community easily, so few of the great members we have got anything to lose on bailing on NXT.

Don't get me wrong, like I've told you, I have not even sold 1 fucking NXT and invested all my savings into NXT aswell as having done NXT related stuff 8 hours daily for over a month, but even I am able to take a step back and look at the situation and see a mess that needs cleaning.
