Zilliqa has been one of the strong hopefuls in the smart contract department.
On paper, it definitely looks better than eth or eos.
but the major problem with all of these "promising" new smart contract platforms is that the vast majority haven't gone to market yet.
I mean even eos was just barely able to release their mainframe but it has all proven to be a huge mess.
With so many options, unless a project can penetrate the market, they will die.
Especially in a competitive category like smart contracts.
I mean, we already have eth which dominates everything.
On top of that we have a little bit older but new ones like neo and waves that have already built huge networks.
