Im allowed to sell excess solar energy back to the grid, but I am not allowed to sell grid energy back to the grid at higher prices that Ive stored in the battery. What is happening now is that instead of selling excess energy back to the grid at off-peak prices, it stores it and then uses it on-peak.
the only issue with this is consuming the battery lifespan, which in some cases can be less efficient than selling energy back at off-peak-prices.
