OK.

I think BTNext's previously used BCT username was/is Ukigo.

FALSE. I don't even recall/know this name.

CfB, your memory fails you.

You had several exchanges with Ukigo on March 14, 2013 in the initial thread JD Bruce (bitfreak!) started to discuss his mini-blockchain idea.

Re: Blockchain-less P2P Currency (theoretical idea)
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=152662.40

JD went on to create another thread in April you did not participate in:

Cryptocurrency with Finite "Mini-Blockchain"
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=169311.20

And published his whitepaper on the mini-blockchain idea in May 2013:

Purely P2P Crypto-Currency With Finite Mini-Blockchain
http://www.bitfreak.info/files/pp2p-ccmbc-rev1.pdf

And then offered a $20K bounty in another May 2013 thread to actually implement the idea (note the title):

Re: Building the Next Generation of Crypto-Currency (developers required)

I believe that Ukigo/BCNext took his initial contact with this idea (and perhaps with you?) and instead of going for the bounty offered by JD, used the mini-blockchain idea instead to start NXT.

On April 27 Etlase2 started a new thread about a PoS coin called Decrits
Decrits: The 99%+ attack-proof coin
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=189239.0

You, CfB, posted a comment on the very first day.  So did Ukigo, on the topic of achieving Shareholder consensus:

100% consensus of Shareholders is a myth.
There will be majority and minorities.
Maybe at every CB.
Of course you can have 100% agreement,
but only after disagreeing minorities got
decimated by some mechanism Wink

By August Etlase2 and Ukigo are writing code that sounds very NXTish and effectively vanish:

The NXT [ANN] goes up on September 28:

[ANN] Nxt :: descendant of Bitcoin
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=303898.1660

BCNext registered that username on Sept 27 and made the last posting under it on November 8.  During that period Ukigo made no postings.

There's more.  FWIW.
