Update

Mods have e-mailed me back. They seem pretty adamant on signing a message with a public address I posted.

For what it's worth admins have surprisingly helpful. Not only responding in a timely manner but doing active research on their own to determine if my requests for proof of ownership are legitimate.  I'm confident this will be resolved sooner than later.
