What should be the conditions for the growth of bitcoin?
1-) we need to stop the scammers so that governments and banks take seriously the crypto world
2-) we need to stop manipulating the volumes in the exchange
3-) we need to have serious exchanges, committed to serving their customers well
4-) we need to stop with pump and dump schemes so that governments and banks take seriously the crypto world
5-) we need to stop the shitcoins that increase every day
Scammers are indeed a serious problem. So are volume manipulations that discredit the industry. As for #3, perhaps it would be better to have well-built decentralized exchanges to avoid negative impact of the ruling minority. Pump and dump, unfortunately, doesn't look to me like something we could stop one day. It's a part of the free market, and the influence of group actions like that will decrease as the community grows. #5 is similar. We cannot ban shitcoins or make people stop investing in them. Surely, governments could set strict requirements for ICOs so that only coins of certain level enter the market, but the crypto community is commited to the ideal of decentralization, so making them die from within does not sound like a solution. Moreover, I don't think that some minor altcoins increasing in price affect bitcoin's price.
