... i would say that i never saw either a need or feeling to make a very detailed post/topic about something to get merit.
You know, a post doesn't have to be very detailed or long to be worthy of getting merits. There are many cases of posts of a few words, jokes, memes, pictures or just simple comments who have received merits. The length of it doesn't matter... although there are cases in life where size matters.
