No one knows what will happen and that's the thing you must understand here. In your 1 year and 6 months of watching the bitcoin price, you should understand by now how volatile crypto is. What you must study is how to deal on that kind of scenario and not just expect a good price movement every now and then.

That's how risky putting money on crypto is. You must have sets of strategy to deal on different instances.
I wonder why not OP go for studying the price movements for last 10 years rather than watching for 1 year and 6 months of time. It would hardly take one or two days to make a conclusion on which way bitcoin price is going.

Bitcoin prices may remain volatile and not showing big up trends in short term but I am sure by end of this year we may have prices around $10k. Why and how ? This is possible because of new adopters and new investors of bitcoins. Bitcoin investments are not risky for long term planning. Bitcoin is designed to have values in millions in coming years but in last 10 years it gained value only in thousands from zero value in initial days.

I never agree that investing on bitcoin is risky (probably it is risky with respect to other cryptos) when we plan for long term. I like to suggest OP to go for investing with bitcoins after studying price movements of bitcoins for last 10 years and planning for long term is must, more importantly a long term plan should be made only with the money which are affordable to lose.
