The forum has at least 500 BTC being escrowed by OgNasty. Not only that, but theymos gets a pretty good amount of money from ad slots (~0.5 to almost 1 BTC per week). If you think over $1.5 million + ~$2-3k a week is not enough, you are dumb.

There's an expense I can certainly imagine to running such forum, so anything can help the owner so as to keep this as mantained and active as posible. Not taking into account how draining energy it is.
I believe you are right that there are expenses in running this forum, but have you thought that there are paid ads currently running too? I think those are enough or even profitable than the expenses this forum needs.

If OgNasty is trusted to hold that much in escrow, should I add him to my trust network. I haven't done it so far because of his aggressive posting behaviour, but shouldn't trust really be about (dare I say it ) "trust".
