Hi,
The project in question is a minimalist science fiction game called
Apsis Online that has been in development for about four years. Having recently released both V1 and V2 as a classic roguelike, this is just an extended prototype. My goal is to port this over to mobile with a graphical skin and allow players to mine resources in-game in exchange for the games native currency. Which can then be converted to Bitcoin.
My previous blockchain business was sold off and I was eager to return to this as I saw a lot of upside in what the engine could do. A derivative of a small command-line social network and crypto exchange, this project was built on the same tech.
My biggest roadblock at current is financing servers and contracting out some 2D art for the mobile port. The vast majority of the technical work is done so at this point hoping to raise about $1400 and gain a long term partner. There is a potential for an ICO based on the default in-game currency but it may be unnecessary. Monetization opportunities range from selling ad space within the forum (also baked into the engine) to establishing a premium storefront to allowing crypto trading as a feature.
If youd like to talk feel free to get in touch via vt1000 on Telegram. I personally have about 7 years experience in the games industry and have run a few major crypto projects up until late last year. Looking forward to hearing from you.
