Can you please let me know, how to check, whether the project for crypto/Blockchain is fake or not?
Means what are the things I have to look for to go for right project not a fake one.
I first go through the project whitepaper. I read about the solution to what their project wants to solve then I look up the roadmap to confirm if they are on track. I also check the team and run background investigations to be sure that its not a fake team.
You know, there are often cases when I read the white paper of the project, I understand that everything is described very competently, but I already read all this somewhere. That is, I have the impression that project teams steal text from each other. So, high-quality white paper is not yet the fact that the project is not fraudulent. Also, fraudsters often post photos of famous people on their website without their knowledge, and investors often fall for this trick. So, to distinguish between honest ICO and fraudulent is sometimes very difficult.
