I think if ETH keeps trying to increase the marketcap, it could be possible for ETH to take the 2nd position and replace XRP again. But still, ETH needs time before it's happening and we don't know when ETH can beat XRP. Maybe ETH needs more supports from new people so they can buy ETH again while the price is down. It still hard to predict if XRP can stay at the 2nd position or ETH will replace XRP because the battle of those coins continues.
