I just want somewhere where one can have sensible and mature discussions, and not have the threads and topics swamped with spam, kindergarten threads and petty bickering. There is a wealth of knowledge here, and some brilliant members, but it is hard to gain interaction with and between them. board

I don't think the legendaries should be paid. If the board is likely to be swamped, then one may have to look at some sort of membership criteria. If the posters can be restricted to responsible members, then it should be largely self-moderating.

I really threw the idea open in the hope that we could create such an area. Of course, it may be that an existing board such as the Bitcoin discussion could be converted to this concept.
