There was nothing in that update that would have 'fixed' this so I think it is by merit of you restarting the wallet. When staking this is a good thing to do once every now and then.
Good to hear its fixed! Resyncing the wallet would get rid of the orphan tx but that is a bit like going after a mosquito with a sledgehammer
