I do not really understand, why would we need something else or an alternative while Grin itself basically has 'nothing' so far.
if you are coming up with a new name and with a new goal other than being an alternative for something. I believe you still have a chance, but this?

they should have introduced this project a long time ago. now, the grin project is bit popular because theymos also endorsed it, and then, this project comes into the light. no wonder, many people here are against on this project. but anyway, good luck!
